A visit to Leavenworth

Yesterday night, suddenly Jesse (Our resident director) came to our apartment and said we are going to Leavenworth tomorrow morning.  We all CCID students were planning to go there for so long days because it snows a lot there.

Leavenworth is a city in Chelan County, Washington and considered as a small German town. Situated on mountains, Leavenworth is widely famous for its beauty, Christmas light festival, and many other things.

I haven’t seen snow before so I was really excited to go there. Early morning we all CCID students, Jesse, July, Tom Andy and Marcus left towards Leavenworth. Car was on its speed, we were in middle of snow. There were very tall trees covered by snow in both side of road, huge mountain were mesmerizing us, everything was so beautiful and so pure. Adnan reminded all of us about “Narnia” movie.

After 3 hours of driving, we arrived Leavenworth. It was more beautiful than we heard. wonderful houses, wonderful people and wonderful weather, leavenworth was just perfect.

We were really hungry so we all decided to eat first. Everyone ate different-2 things, I ordered for Chicken Fajitas, a mexican cuisine. It was really tasty.

We were just wandering there suddenly they announced for the christmas lighting. It was really huge crowd there as I had seen in pictures before. we sang christmas song and saw the lights of christmas.  When we were supposed to heading back, we met Kris and Angela. Overall a great day especially a great evening, we had.
